User Profile - Personal settings and account management
Your settings guide AI recommendations and communication, helping KoiraKaveri fit your everyday life.
KoiraKaveri is designed to serve you and your dog personally. Your user profile settings do not only affect the app's appearance; they also guide AI-powered recommendations and communication so you get help that fits your daily life.
You can manage your information by choosing: Menu → User Settings.
Editing profile and localisation
You can update your name, photo, language and location settings in your profile.
Language and AI
The app's language setting also determines which language smart features, such as the AI Assistant, use when communicating with you.
Note: If the AI Assistant answers in the wrong language, check your user settings and make sure the selected language is correct.
Location and weather-based recommendations
Providing your location, such as town or city, is fully optional but recommended because of the app's "Extreme Helpfulness" principle.
- Smart recommendations: The app uses location data to provide notes about things like weather or clothing your dog may need.
Account actions and data management
We value your privacy, and you have full rights to all data you store. You can find these choices under Account Actions.
Data export
You can request a copy of all data related to your account:
- Press the Export my data button.
- You will receive an email link for downloading your data.
Note: For security reasons, the download link is valid only for a limited time. If it expires, you can request a new link through the app.
Deleting data
If you want to stop using KoiraKaveri, you can permanently delete all your data.
- Important: This action permanently deletes your user account, household data, dog profiles, training history and all photos.
- Note: Data deletion is not possible if you have an active subscription or if you are the household owner and there are still other members in the household.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I change my time zone?
The app uses your selected time zone to send notifications and reminders at the right time. You can change it directly from your user profile.
Can I restore deleted data?
No. Data deletion is permanent and final. We recommend exporting your data before deleting your account if you want to keep your dog's health history, for example.
Who can see my location data?
Location data is used only for in-app personalisation, such as weather forecasts. KoiraKaveri does not share your location data with third parties.
