Memories is KoiraKaveri's own "family album" where you can save, share and revisit the important and funny moments in your dog's life. It is not just a photo gallery, but a way to keep the whole family and dog sitters up to date on your dog's day, wherever they are.
You can browse all saved moments by choosing: Home → Menu → Memories.
How do Memories work?
Memories consist of photos and attached captions that appear dynamically on the app's home screen.
Instant notifications
When a new memory is shared, you receive a notification on your phone.
Dog tagging
If your household has multiple dogs, you can tag which dogs appear in each memory.
Reactions
You can react to shared memories with emojis such as a heart or paw print.
Memories and dog sitting (Sitter Mode)
The Memories feature is especially valuable when your dog is being cared for by someone else:
Sitter updates
In Sitter Mode, the dog sitter can easily share photos and updates from the day directly to the family's shared view.
Peace of mind
The owner receives a notification and a photo, for example from a successful forest walk, bringing reassurance during the care period.
Adding and managing memories
You can add a new memory in two ways:
Home screen FAB menu
Press the "+" button at the bottom of the home screen and choose "Memory".
Memories page
Press the blue "+" button at the bottom of the Memories page.
Actions and sharing
When you open an individual memory, the top-right menu lets you:
Download
Save the photo to your phone's gallery.
Share
Send the photo outside KoiraKaveri, for example via WhatsApp or Instagram.
Edit or delete
Update the caption or delete the memory entirely.

Memories are not visible or available.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can see the memories I add?
Memories are visible to all household members on Premium or Pro, and to an active dog sitter when Sitter Mode is enabled.
Can I delete a memory added by a sitter?
Yes. The dog owner has full control over all memories linked to the dog's profile.
How do memories appear on the home screen?
The app's smart dynamic home screen automatically highlights the newest and most meaningful memories so you stay up to date on your dog's day.
